Bruch’s romantic Violin Concerto No. 1 is the perfect showcase for award-winning violinist Sarah Chang. On Saturday evening, Oct. 14, Grammy winner Zuill Bailey performs Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor, a late work of glorious beauty that has been called “the King” of cello concertos. On Sunday, Oct. 15, Santiago Rodriguez, who has been called “a phenomenal pianist” (The New York Times), joins the National Philharmonic for Grieg’s most popular work, the Piano Concerto in A minor.

Violinist Sarah Chang’s “gifts are at a level so removed from the rest of us that all we can do is feel the appropriate awe and then wonder on the mysteries of nature.” - The New York Times

Zuill Bailey, a three-time Grammy winner, “is easily one of the finest cellists alive today."  - Classical Net
