Music Director Jorge Orozco leads this week-long camp for young string players to enhance their musicianship through skill building sessions, orchestra and chamber ensembles rehearsals, music history, theory, and sight-reading sessions.
For students entering grades 6–8
Senior group participants must have taken private lessons for at least five years for violins and at least four years for viola, cello, and bass. All musicians should be able to read music well.
For students entering grades 3–5
Junior group participants must have taken private lessons for at least three years for violins and at least two years for viola, cello, and bass. All musicians should be able to read music.
