Sammy Miller and The Congregation are on a mission to “put the generosity back into jazz” with exuberant music that entertains, enriches, and uplifts. A native of Los Angeles, bandleader, singer, and drummer Miller is known for his dedication to making music that “feels good.” Together with The Congregation, Miller strives to create globally conscious music and to share the power of community through his work.

  • Members of The Congregation have performed or recorded with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, O.A.R, Iron and Wine, and Lee Fields.
  • Miller received his Master’s at The Juilliard School and formed The Congregation not long after.
  • The Congregation plays a set that features originals and covers by artists like Sy Oliver and Duke Ellington.
