Backyard Theater for Kids:
Joanie Leeds & The Nightlights
As one of America’s top nationally touring kindie rock bands, Brooklyn-based Joanie Leeds & The Nightlights has played for thousands of families across the country. Leeds began her career in the club scene in New York, but she was inspired by the unbridled and unadulterated joy of children. She wanted to write music that reflected that sense of carefree adventure. On her latest release, Brooklyn Baby!, she celebrates equality, healthy eating, education, and love with a fun, silly twist. Leeds’ songs can be heard on radio stations nationwide and she’s received accolades from People, USA Today, Parents Magazine, The New York Times, The Baltimore Sun, and The Washington Post.
Please note, tickets for the 9:30am performance will be taken off web sale at 5pm the day prior and tickets for the 11:30am performance at 10am the day of. You can still purchase tickets in person at both performances.
