Burtonsville Day Parade and Festival

Strathmore Artists-in-Residence bring exciting performances to this annual event. Chao Tian, a Chinese Dulcimer Player, and Dante' Pope, Drummer and Vocalist, will perform traditional standards and original compositions. 

Sunday, September 23, 3-5pm | Wheaton Veterans Park

Wheaton Arts Parade

Grammy-Nominated Progressive Hip-Hop Artist, Christylez Bacon, and Steel Pannist, Josanne Francis will share their own music and bring new sounds to Wheaton Veterans Park. The two artists will also collaborate and improvise in a performance you won't want to miss!

Good Hope Neighborhood Recreation Center Grand-Opening

2015-16 Strathmore Artist-in-Residence, Cristian Perez will join friends to form a trio for an unforgettable performance marking the official opening of the Good Hope Neighborhood Recreation Center. Perez's music will be the first sounds to resonate in this new arts-friendly recreation center.
