Baltimore Symphony at Strathmore
A world without music is unimaginable—a void of melody, no soaring of the human voice, life without rhythm and no inspiration to move or dance—a world without music feels empty and lonely. Music belongs to all of us and can be found anywhere: in formal settings like a concert hall, in the sounds of nature and the everyday cadence of human life and commerce. Music has been described in thousands of ways over the centuries, and yet, there are no words that adequately capture it, or the visceral impact it has on us. But one thing is indisputable—where there is life, there is music.
Life is better because of music.
