This concert has been rescheduled for June 17. Tickets are still valid for new performance date on June 17. Refunds will be accepted through February 6. Patrons who choose a refund can mail their tickets back to Strathmore 5301 Tuckerman Lane, N. Bethesda, MD, 20852. If tickets are at will call and you would like a refund, please email tickets@strathmore.org or call 301-581-5100 and press 1. Ticket sales for the June 17th date will begin on Monday January 27th.

Hailed “as the successor to Russian keyboard lions like Evgeny Kissin, Arcadi Volodos, and … Vladimir Horowitz” (The New York Times), Denis Matsuev has been establishing himself as one of the most sought-after pianists of his generation. Ever since his triumphant victory at the 1998 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, he has been winning acclaim from critics and audiences alike for his combination of stunning virtuosity and clear artistic identity. The dynamic pianist returns to Strathmore hall for a recital of works by Haydn, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff.

Additional Seating for Patrons with Disabilities: Strathmore has aisle seats with moveable armrests for patrons who wish to transfer to a fixed theater seat. The Concert Hall also has chairs without arms to be used in the boxes for patrons who request a wider chair. Seating close to the stage is available for patrons with visual impairments.
