Philharmonic Opera Dean Elzinga, acclaimed for dramatic roles with the nation's preeminent opera companies, portrays the rakish Don, the man who cannot resist women and whom women cannot resist. Washington Opera regular Vladimir Shvets is his servant and accomplice. Jane Ohmes, whose vocalizing is "drop dead gorgeous" (The Kansas City Star), world-renowned Janice Chandler-Eteme, and Ilana Davidson, who sings with "panache" (Newsday), are among the innocent urging reform, and multiple Grammy winner John Aler is sworn to avenge Giovanni's wrongs.
