Washington International Voice Competition Winner Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 7:30 PM Mansion

Rayanne Gonzales, a prizewinner in the 2004 Washington International Voice Competition, will appear in recital with pianist Patrick O’Donnell.

Melodies: Líricos, Lyrique & Lyrical features Ms. Gonzales’ “enormous versatility” in a variety of musical styles. In this evening of art song, opera and musical theatre, enjoy the fiery accent of Falla’s songs from Spain, the intimacy of French mélodie by Hahn, Mozart’s florid musicality and the lush melodies of Broadway greats Loesser and Bernstein among other outstanding selections, both classical and contemporary.
