Bring your own uke for the pre-show jam session at 6, then enjoy ukulele sensations – ukulele virtuoso James Hill; Grammy Award winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer; Bruce Hutton whose ukulele rambles from Renaissance to folk; and the queen of ukulele pop, Victoria Vox.

PARKING Parking for the Strathmore Outdoor Events is in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Garage. Parking is $4.75, and a Metro SmarTrip card will be required to pay the fare in order to exit the garage. Metro does not accept cash or any other form of payment. SmarTrip cards are available for sale at special machines in all Metro stations. Enter the garage on Tuckerman Lane.
Parking for patrons with disabilities (with tag) and Strathmore Member Parking (with Strathmore Summer Parking Pass) is free in the Mansion lot on a space available basis, enter at 10701 Rockville Pike. Get the parking pass - click here for more information on becoming a Strathmore Member.
Overflow parking is available at the meters along Tuckerman Lane.

DINING Back by popular demand! BBQ ribs, pulled pork, veggie burgers, hot dogs, side dishes, desserts, soda, water, beer and wine are available for purchase at the BBQ Shack during the Strathmore Free Summer Outdoor Concerts. Join us a little early and enjoy dinner on the lawn before the show. Private, catered picnics are available for groups. Call (301) 581-5251.
Donate Your Old Instruments! Strathmore is pleased to partner with Hungry for Music, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit dedicated to bringing musical concerts and workshops to underprivileged children as well as donating instruments to young people who could not otherwise afford them. A portion of the proceeds from CD sales at Strathmore all summer long supports the instrument donation program. Additionally, Strathmore will hold an instrument drive all summer, so please bring your used instruments to the summer concerts to donate to the Hungry for Music instrument refurbishment program.
