Join Maestro Kristofer Sanz (MCYO Artistic Director and Conductor of Philharmonic) and the top high school string players in the area for the All-Star String Intensive (ASSI) @ Strathmore. This highly intensive string orchestra program provides an opportunity for talented musicians to rehearse and perform in a highly collaborative environment while building a sense of community and deep musical relationships.
Audition Information/Requirements:
- A 2-3 minute video (showing your entire body and face), demonstrating your technical and musical abilities performing solo repertoire for your string instrument. *You may use a recent audition or recital video.
- NOTE: Work performed must be a major work or concerto written for your instrument Grade 5 or higher. Repertoire studied at ASSI will be professional level and comparable to works performed by MCYO’s Chamber Ensemble and Philharmonic.

Application fees are non-refundable
One month or more from the start of camp (until June 8, 2026): $650 refund
Two-weeks (between June 9 and June 22, 2026): $485
Less than two weeks (starting June 23, 2026): No refund
