Tower of Tea Cups by Tina Gagnon
34th Annual Strathmore Juried Exhibition
Steeped
Jurors: Darryl Patterson and Adah Rose Bitterbaum
March 7–April 22, 2026
Whether enjoyed as a quiet morning ritual or shared with friends at day’s end, tea has long been a source of comfort and connection. This simple beverage carries a rich history spanning thousands of years and cultures.
In honor of the 40th anniversary of Strathmore’s Afternoon Tea program, artists reflect on the tastes, scents, traditions, and emotions that surround tea and teatime—from works created with tea itself to vessels crafted for serving it.
Generous support for this exhibition is provided by Jeffrey and Cindy Dill.
