RENT in Concert

Experience a full symphonic concert event performed with live cast celebrating Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award winning musical RENT in Concert! This special concert-style production brings Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical to life, complete with a talented cast of Broadway caliber performers and a live band, delivering the iconic songs that have captured hearts for over two decades. 

Set in the vibrant world of New York’s East Village, RENT explores the lives of a group of young artists facing love, loss, and the struggles of living in a world that often feels like it’s against them. With hits like “Seasons of Love,” “La Vie Bohème,” and “Take Me or Leave Me,” the concert highlights the emotional depth and energy that has made RENT a cultural phenomenon. 

This performance brings audiences back to the raw, emotionally honest essence of the musical, celebrating the themes of community, hope, and resilience that continue to resonate today.

We offer tickets under $30 for all Strathmore Presents programs in the Music Center. For this performance, these tickets have all been claimed.

If you are able to pay full price for your tickets, we thank you for doing so. Your purchase makes it possible for us to offer community access tickets to those who would not be able to participate without them.
