An all-star lineup of DC’s finest musicians come together to honor two of the most influential songwriters of the century. If you are a fan of folk or Americana, you’ve likely worn out your copies of Joni Mitchell’s Blue and Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks. They contain the kind of songs you can hear a million times and still crave more; poetic masterpieces like “River,” “Tangled Up in Blue,” “A Case of You,” and “Simple Twist of Fate.” These records are cornerstones of popular music that have etched themselves into our collective conscience. And tonight, you’ll fall in love with them all over again.
This special evening includes performances by Margot MacDonald, Sara Curtin, Maureen Andary, Laura Tsaggaris, Tony Denikos, Kenny Wesley, Paul Bell, Arch Alcantara, Mike Mills, Tom Fridrich, and Ronnie Newmyer.

Guests will be seated a little further back from the stage than you may be used to, but there is not a bad seat in the house to experience energizing performances by outstanding artists. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting we’re ready to welcome a variety of artists!
The Patio Stage sits on the Trawick Terrace, just outside the lobby on the Orchestra Level of the Music Center. The venue is covered by a large tent with open sides.
