Applications for the Class of 2027 are now closed.
Launched in 2005, Strathmore's Artists in Residence (AIR) Program was created to support outstanding local musicians as they transition into career artists. Over the past 20 years, AIR has become one of the region’s most respected artist development programs.
Each year, through a competitive selection process, six artists are chosen to participate. During the 10-month residency, they receive mentorship from established musicians, 30 hours of professional development, professional photography and videography, extensive performance opportunities, and a $6,000 stipend.
