Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.  

Each company has individual guidelines for matching donations. Often, after an employee donates, they then request the matching gift from their employer, who makes their own donation. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio. 

Please check with your employer for instructions.  

The matching gift process differs from company to company.  If your company uses an online portal, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search tool above!

Yes! You can have your membership matched. If your match upgrades your membership level (i.e., upgrades you from Two Stars to Three Stars), Strathmore will automatically waive benefits of value from the new level (i.e., member event invitations, valet, box tickets, etc.) to ensure your gift is fully tax deductible.

Strathmore will issue a tax receipt for your personal gift only. 

Matching gifts from employers are not eligible to satisfy a pledge. Pledge payments can only be accepted directly from the donor.
