Sons of Town Hall, the transatlantic folk duo of American songwriter/author David Berkeley and British songwriter/producer Ben Parker, is creating a new genre of performance art—part live concept album, part theatrical experience. Under the aliases Josiah Chester Jones and George Ulysses Brown, Berkeley and Parker craft a mythic universe featuring two 19th-century vagabonds who travel the world in a hand-built boat, seeking adventure and love while escaping troubled pasts. Designed as a live companion experience to their radio-theater podcast Madmen Cross The Water, Sons of Town Hall weaves wild and hilarious stories into heartbreaking and rousing songs, bringing audiences along on a captivating journey.
