Grammy-winning flutist Brandon Patrick George joins pianist Hui-Chuan Chen for an inspiring concert featuring new and rediscovered works by Black classical composers.
Known for his elegance and virtuosity, Brandon Patrick George has performed with major orchestras across the country, including the Atlanta, Baltimore, and Albany symphonies. Beyond the stage, George is a passionate advocate for diversity in classical music, spearheading projects like BPG: The Community Concerto Project, which premiered with the Albany Symphony and the Albany High School Choir in 2024. His latest album, Twofold, was released on In a Circle Records in September 2023.
Pianist Hui-Chuan Chen leads a diverse career as a concert pianist, chamber musician, and educator. She has performed widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, collaborated and toured with celebrated soloists, and won awards and held prominent fellowships at The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
