Music in the Mansion, Strathmore’s intimate chamber concert series, showcases not-so-traditional soloists and small ensembles that are redefining classical music. This season’s repertoire spans genres, featuring touring artists from around the world who blend Celtic and bluegrass, folk and jazz, and more.

We’re also thrilled to highlight local artists who bring light to historically underrecognized creators. This includes pianist Dr. Leah Claiborne performing works by Black composers, Alma Ensemble interpreting compositions by women, and the viola duo Tallā Rouge presenting pieces by folk, West Asian, and LGBTQ+ composers. Additionally, Washington Women in Jazz celebrates female and non-binary artists from the DC region.

Come and experience a diverse array of sounds this season in the Mansion!
