Downbeat award-winning 21-year-old Dominique Bianco is a multifaceted vocalist specializing in jazz and contemporary genres. Originally from Staten Island, New York, Dominique was a finalist in the 2022 International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition. Committed to the traditional spirit at the heart of jazz music, she has shared the stage with Benny Benack III, Elijah Jamal Balbed, Emmet Cohen Trio, “Time To Swing” Quartet, Julius Rodriguez, and more. As a featured soloist, she has performed in Jazz4Justice concerts consistently for the last four years.
A recent graduate of George Mason University, Dominique has been featured in the Mason Jazz Ensemble, and has earned her Bachelor’s in Jazz Studies with a Minor in Music Technology. Her debut EP will be released in September 2022, and she can be heard as a background vocalist on various recordings including Balbed’s The Karma Suite set to release in 2022.
