HENRY DEHLINGER
Beyond Earth: A Celestial Odyssey (World Premiere)
Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony (Selections)

In partnership with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Capital Classical Concerts and  conductor Piotr Gajewski present the world premiere of Henry Dehlinger’s Beyond Earth: A Celestial Odyssey, a celebration of space exploration and a meditation on the human spirit that drives it. This cinematic-symphonic work traces humanity’s journey beyond our home planet, from the daring first steps on the Moon to the edges of our interplanetary aspirations.

The program also includes selections from Dehlinger’s celebrated 2023 collaboration with  NASA—Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony. Lauded by The Washington Post as “a  harmonically rewarding wander through the stars” and “an unexpected emotional punch,” Cosmic Cycles has captivated audiences in sold-out halls around the globe.

With its shimmering orchestrations and breathtaking visuals from the Webb Space Telescope, this film-with-live-orchestra concert is both a tribute to our past and a call to keep reaching for the stars.

This program is not recommended for audiences under seven years old.
