As the nights grow longer and shadows stretch across the Mansion’s halls, we invite you to a season of mysterious delights. Centered around Hauntings, a ghostly and gorgeous new exhibition, the Mansion will provide opportunities to celebrate the thinning of the veil through the eerie days of autumn.
Hauntings

Art inspired by the macabre
Exhibition in the Mansion Galleries
October 4–November 7, 2025
Beware, visitors! The galleries grow dark and eerie this season with Hauntings, an artistic exploration of the macabre, paranormal, and things that go bump in the night. Our historic mansion’s dim stairways and mysterious chamber doors set the stage for goosebumps and fright. This exhibition features artwork inspired by ghost stories and midnight sightings, offering shadowy landscapes, portraits of specters, and depictions of fantastic creatures. Prepare to be visited by nightmares, beguiled by peril, and transfixed by a sixth sense.
Entry to the Mansion Galleries is always free. Visit Strathmore.org/Mansion to find current hours and plan your visit.
