When virtuoso Irish playing jumps the pond and runs amuck through the wide, open fields of bluegrass and Americana folk, JigJam is born. This Irish-born band has ignited the flame of “igrass” or Irish Bluegrass in this reiteration of Americana.

JigJam made its Grand Ole Opry Debut in Nashville in March 2023, sharing the night with the likes of Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Steve Earle, Lauren Alaina, and many more.

Described as “sparkling, infectious” and “the best Irish band in bluegrass,” these lads have been hailed as “Ireland’s answer to New Grass Revival.” Known for their foot stomping and high-energy performances, JigJam is ready to party.

Tips for a Great Visit

Live from the Lawn performances are on the Gudelsky Gazebo stage.
Parking is in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage off Tuckerman Lane (map it here). There is a $5.20 flat rate for garage parking.
From the garage, walk across the skybridge or crosswalk and follow the path. The Gazebo stage is across from the Mansion driveway.
Valet parking and golf cart services are not available.

Members at the 3 Star level and above can park in the Mansion lot when attending Live from the Lawn events. Upon entry, please display your VIP Parking Pass on your dashboard and follow the instructions from security personnel. View more detailed information here.
Accessible parking is available in the Mansion lot on a first-come, first-served basis. A government-issued disability placard or plate is required.
Guests parking in the Mansion lot are not permitted to leave until the concert has concluded and is clear of pedestrian traffic.
To access the Mansion parking lot, enter the Mansion lot at 10701 Rockville Pike, at the low brick walls that say “Strathmore.”

Stop by our BBQ tent for a variety of tasty food and drinks for purchase. Think burgers, pulled pork, big salads, and sides along with wine, beer, and soft drinks.
Ben & Jerry’s will have ice cream options available for purchase to satisfy your sweet tooth, weather permitting.
You're welcome to BYO food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Per Strathmore’s Montgomery County liquor license agreement, outside alcohol is not permitted on property.

Low-rise chairs and blankets are welcome.
We discourage the use of tall chairs, but if you choose to bring one, please be considerate and sit toward the back of the lawn. Our team may ask those in higher chairs to move back if needed.
Pets and comfort/emotional support animals are not permitted at Live from the Lawn events.
Trained Service Animals are permitted.

We encourage you to RSVP to receive updates. In case of inclement weather, concerts are moved indoors. Check Strathmore’s Facebook page or visit strathmore.org for up-to-date information.

Capacity for this event will be limited if the show moves indoors. Seating will be first-come, first-served.
