Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) is a non-profit educational organization offering world-class music theatre training to young performing artists in a professional and nurturing environment. YAA’s students perform fully orchestrated works of music theatre in state-of-the-art venues such as the Music Center at Strathmore, where YAA is an affiliate. Through the creative process, YAA gives students skills and confidence to “find their voice” on the stage and in life.

Each year, YAA serves a diverse group of 500+ students, grades 5 through pre-professional, and reach an audience of 5,000+, with 12+ performances and 1500+ hours of classes and rehearsals. YAA’s annual program consists of a Performance Program with YAAOrchestra (full symphonic orchestra), YAACompany (high school performing arts company), and YAAjunior (middle school performing arts company); Musical Theatre Training in Voice, Dance, and Acting; Classical Voice for Pre-Professionals; Summer Performing Arts Intensive Programs; plus robust Community Outreach and Tuition Assistance Programs.
