Henry Wo Yue-Kee

June 1–July 31, 2019
Mansion at Strathmore
Mansion Landing

Henry Wo Yue-Kee subtly fuses Eastern and Western influences and blends his heritage of traditional Chinese brushwork with personal poetry in ink paintings on paper. A disciple of the Lingnan school of painting, Wo Yue-Kee uses translucent washes punctuated with delicate linear accents to elegantly transform images found in nature into symbols of happiness, friendliness, peace, gentleness, tranquility, and harmony.

Our Perspective series features local artists in solo or two-person exhibitions.
