Mistuko Uchida

Mitsuko Uchidapiano

“It is especially in the works of Schubert... that Ms. Uchida’s musical depth comes through.” – The New York Times

Uchida, “one of the world’s leading classical pianists” (The New Yorker), considers herself a developing music student learning through interpretations of predecessors. In the 2017/18 season, she embarks on a Schubert Sonata series, performing three of the composers works amid Strathmore’s sensitive acoustics.

SCHUBERT - Sonata in C minor, D. 958
SCHUBERT - Sonata in A Major, D. 664
SCHUBERT - Sonata in G Major, D. 894

This performance is made possible by Betsy and Robert Feinberg, and Anne and Burt Fishman.

This concert is not presented by Strathmore.
