Ticket Resale Policy
Strathmore can only guarantee tickets through Strathmore’s Ticket Office and through Strathmore.org. Strathmore maintains no relationships with third-party ticket vendors who resell tickets above face value. Strathmore has in place several measures to prevent third-party resale of tickets above face value. Patrons assume full risk of fraudulent tickets purchased or obtained through unauthorized vendors.
Resale of Strathmore tickets for more than face value is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of Strathmore’s name in print, online, and broadcast promotion relating to the sale of Strathmore tickets is strictly prohibited. Presale benefits are for the exclusive use of Strathmore members. Strathmore reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or revoke services, privileges, and tickets for those suspected of violating our ticket resale policy.
All tickets are pre-paid and non-refundable.
If a performance is cancelled or postponed a full refund of the ticket price will be available through the ticket office for 30 days after the original scheduled performance date.
Unlike many venues, Strathmore allows tickets to be exchanged. We realize that plans can change and we want to accommodate your needs. Tickets may only be exchanged for shows presented by Strathmore or its resident partner organizations.
Exchanges must be for the same presenter within the same season. Strathmore’s season ends on June 30 of each year. If funds go unused, they will be converted into a tax-deductible contribution or Stars membership at Strathmore.
Ticket exchanges are NOT available for independently produced shows.
A purchaser of an individual ticket may, one time only, make an exchange by mail or in person up to 48 business hours before the performance. There is a $5 servicing fee per exchange transaction.
Strathmore Stars enjoy extra exchange benefits for Strathmore Presents performances.
Stars may, at no charge, exchange any ticket by mail or in person by 5pm Monday-Friday for performances the same evening, by 2pm Saturday for performances on Saturday or Sunday evening, and by 5pm the previous business day (2pm on Saturdays) for matinee performances.
*Coronavirus Ticket Exchange Update
It is important to us that patrons feel that they are able to make the choices that are best for their health and the health of their neighbors. Until further notice, our $5 exchange fee will be waived on exchanges, and patrons may exchange into a future season for Strathmore Presents performances at any venue. Please note that we do require a 48 hour notice for exchanges to allow us to manage our inventory and resell tickets where possible.
