'Let Freedom Ring!': The Journey of Harriet Tubman

The featured performance, The Journey of Harriet Tubman, will be performed by the San Jose State University Choraliers accompanied by professional instrumentalists, and will include projection and lighting design. Castro Valley A Cappella will open the evening's performance, then will join the National Concert Chorus, led by renowned guest conductor Dr. Jeffrey Benson, on a program that includes Dark Night of Soul by composer Ola Gjeilo, and a world premiere from composer-in-residence Melissa Dunphy, set to text by Charles Anthony Silvestri.
