- The multi-talented Jamison Ross opens the show. Ross won the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jr. international Jazz Competition in 2012.
- Alexander’s performances on the 58th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast received a standing ovation from the star-studded audience.
- His sophomore album Countdown (released in September 2016) showcases Alexander’s remarkable development as a contemporary jazz bandleader and promise as a composer.
