The Gipsy Kings
featuring Nicolas Reyes & Tonino Baliardo
Melding deep-heated flamenco, rumba, salsa, and pop to the tune of 20 million albums sold, the Grammy Award-winning hit-makers behind “Bamboléo” celebrate in their very own, blistering tradition—taking audiences back to the south of France with flamenco guitars and booming Spanish vocals. The Gipsy Kings will raise the roof with dance-ready furor, returning to their groundbreaking eponymous album and the nomadic spirit that has led them to their latest work, Grammy Award-winning album Savor Flamenco and a new project Experience—giving audiences the “deep shout at the heart of our community.”
- The Gipsy Kings have been fronted for 25 years by songwriters and producers Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo. Their 1987 debut album spent forty weeks on the US album charts and introduced the world to “Rumba Gitano.”
- They have collaborated with such diverse artists as Joan Baez, Francis Cabrel, and Ziggy Marley. Plus, their rendition of “Hotel California” was featured in the film The Big Lebowski and on the HBO series Entourage.
- Every online ticket purchase comes with a digital download of The Gipsy King’s upcoming album, Evidence. Ticketholders will receive instructions via email on how to redeem your album the day after the concert.
Opening the show is Park City, Utah-based band PARK88.
