Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the British Royal Air Force as the Royal Air Force Squadronaires share the stage with the US Air Force’s Airmen of Note for an explosive evening of big band jazz.
The Squadronaires is one of the United Kingdom’s finest big bands, with a worldwide reputation for musical excellence that can be traced back to 1939 when many of London’s professional musicians were recruited into the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
The Airmen of Note is the premier jazz ensemble of the U.S. Air Force and was created in 1950 to continue the style and tradition of Major Glenn Miller’s Army Air Corps dance band.
Over the years each has developed a distinct reputation as masters of their craft and this unique performance is a concert you won’t want to miss.
