Creative Writing Workshops
with Community Building Art Works

Join Community Building Art Works (CBAW) for this creative writing workshop series in partnership with Strathmore. Led by writer Seema Reza and accomplished guest authors, these community workshops focus on writing as a tool for introspection, communication, and connection with others.

Bring a pen, a notebook, and an open mind! No creative writing experience is required.

Tickets for these workshops are “pay what you wish” prices of $10, $20, or $30. All ticket sales will go toward covering the cost the workshops.

This event also takes place on March 14 & May 9.

Doors open at 6:30pm, workshop begins promptly at 7pm.

About CBAW & Seema Reza
CBAW is a charitable organization that builds healthy and connected communities where veterans and civilians share creative expression, mutual understanding, and support. Seema Reza is the chair of CBAW and facilitates a multi-hospital arts program that encourages use of the arts as a tool for narration, self-care, and socialization for those struggling with emotional and physical injuries. She the author of the hybrid memoir When the World Breaks Open and the poetry collection A Constellation of Half-Lives (forthcoming).
