The New York Times has hailed conductor Eun Sun Kim, the newly appointed Music Director of the San Francisco Opera, as “a major star.” Joining her is world-renowned pianist André Watts, who will perform Ravel’s demanding Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, noted for its expressively lyrical melody. Kim also leads Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, widely considered his most beloved.
