Hailed by Classical Guitar Magazine as “one of the bright lights of the younger generation of classical musicians,” Russian-American guitarist Pakhomkin studied at the Peabody Conservatory under renowned Cuban classical guitarist Manuel Barrueco. He went on to become the winner of the 2012 Mexican International Guitar Competition in Culiacán and the 2016 winner of the international Respighi Prize. He is currently based in Washington, DC, teaching locally and performing at area venues such as Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, and The Phillips Collection.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Reservations are not required, but appreciated to help us plan.
