Born in Washington, DC and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, contemporary jazz vocalist Dashiell honed her skills at Howard University and the Manhattan School of Music. Dazzling audiences with her arrangements of popular songs and inventive originals, she has performed at the Kennedy Center through Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead program, in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Jazz for Young People program, and on season three of NBC’s The Sing-Off as an alumni member of Howard University’s Afro Blue ensemble. While it may seem like Dashiell has done it all, we know there’s even more to come from this “young vocal starlet to watch” (Capitol Bop): her debut album, Time All Mine, charted on both Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz and Jazz Album lists.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Reservations are not required, but appreciated to help us plan.
