Refunds
All Tickets are Pre-Paid and Non-Refundable.
If a performance is cancelled or postponed a full refund of the ticket price will be available through the ticket office for 30 days after the original scheduled performance date.
Ticket Exchanges
Unlike many venues, Strathmore allows tickets to be exchanged. Strathmore realizes that your plans can change and we want to accommodate your needs. Tickets may only be exchanged for shows presented by Strathmore or its resident partner organizations. Exchanges must be for the same presenter within the same season. Ticket exchanges are NOT available for independently produced shows.
Strathmore Stars retain certain privileges in relation to exchanges for Strathmore presentations that single ticket buyers do not enjoy. Stars may, at no charge:
- Exchange any ticket by mail or in person by 5PM Monday - Friday for performances the same evening, 2PM Saturday for performances on Saturday or Sunday evening and by 5PM the previous business day (2PM on Saturdays) for matinee performances.
Individual Ticket Buyers
- A purchaser of an individual ticket may, one time only, make an exchange by mail or in person until 48 business hours before the performance. There will be a $5 servicing fee per exchange transaction.
How to Exchange
Exchanges must be for the same presenter within the same season. For example, a Strathmore presentation must be exchange for another Strathmore presentation, a Baltimore Symphony for another Baltimore Symphony, a National Philharmonic for another National Philharmonic, or a Washington Performing Arts Society (WPAS) presentation for another WPAS presentation.
Ticket exchanges are NOT available for independently produced rental shows.
Tickets can not be exchanged after the performance has taken place. Exchanges will only be accepted and need to be completed before the deadlines noted above.

- IN PERSON
- BY MAIL
- BY FAX (with tickets cut in half)
- BY EMAIL (with tickets cut in half)
Ticket Donation
If you are unable to use your tickets, they may be returned for a tax-deductible donation prior to the performance. Donations can be made by mail, fax or in person by 5PM the day of the performance.
