Guitar Passions: Sharon Isbin, Stanley Jordan & Romero Lubambo Presented by Strathmore Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 8:00 PM Music Center at Strathmore
Unfortunately, Sharon Isbin's Guitar Passions featuring Stanley Jordan and Romero Lubambo, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, February 13 at the Music Center at Strathmore, has been postponed due to inclement weather. We are working with the artists to reschedule this event and will keep you informed.
As a ticket purchaser to this performance, you have multiple options:
Hold onto the original February 13 ticket to use on the rescheduled date (we will send an email once the new date was been determined).
Exchange your tickets for another Strathmore performance.
Donate Your Tickets to Strathmore: The economics of the performing arts require that most of the expenses for the production are spent prior to the performance. Musicians and technicians are compensated; special equipment, instruments, and lighting are ordered and pre-paid; advertising has been bought and programs are printed. In light of this, Strathmore would be very grateful if you would consider donating the value of your ticket to Strathmore. Because Strathmore is a non-profit organization, you will receive a 100% tax deduction. Your donation will also help support Strathmore’s artistic and educational programs.
Sharon Isbin, guitar Stanley Jordan, jazz guitar Romero Lubambo, Brazilian guitar
“The pre-eminent guitarist of our time” (Boston Magazine), Grammy Award winner Sharon Isbin is an acknowledged queen of the classical concert hall. But in her album Guitar Passions, she explored new horizons, collaborating with jazz, rock, and world musicians. In this evening, Isbin performs with two of her collaborators on that album, Stanley Jordan, a jazz player of “jaw-dropping technique” (The Washington Post) and Brazilian master Romero Lubambo, “an absolute wizard” (Acoustic Guitar Magazine).
This concert will run approximately 140 minutes with intermission.
