Step into a 19th-century musical salon with this performance by a pair of virtuosos renowned for their performances on period instruments. Cellist Tanya Tomkins "combines intense dramatic fire with Apollonian poise" (Cleveland Plain Dealer). Pianist Pedja Muzijevic is acclaimed for his performances both solo and in recital with such renowned artists as Mikhail Baryshnikov and Mstislav Rostropovich. Savor music of Schumann and Chopin in a setting they themselves might have appreciated.

The program will include Schumann's Folk Pieces for cello and piano and Chopin's Polonaise Brillante cello and piano.
