MADAMA BUTTERFLY & MISS SAIGON
one heart-wrenching story, told from two unique perspectives
MADAMA BUTTERFLY & MISS SAIGON is a never-before-seen concept that brings together both iconic scores into one performance to tell the story that they share about an orphaned girl who falls in love with an American soldier and gives the ultimate sacrifice of her life so that their child can grow up in America.

The performance will feature the MCYO Philharmonic Orchestra, made up of 85 of the best student instrumentalists from the Metro DC area, and over 50 student and professional vocalists from Young Artists of America. The production will be directed by Shakespeare Theater’s Alan Paul.
