Friday Night Eclectic: UrbanArias - "Blind Dates" Presented by Strathmore Friday, March 22, 2013 at 8:30 PM Mansion

UrbanArias brings a hilarious evening of Mini-Opera and Improvisation to Strathmore. The 90-minute concert will feature three staged, short operas, including Gabriel Kahane's "Craigslistlieder" - songs set to actual, must-be-heard-to-be-believed Craigslist ads set to music. Additionally, the singers and pianist will create 2-minute operas on the spot, with improvised text and music, based on plot suggestions given by the audience. It's interactive opera!

Vocalists for the evening will include Joshua Baumgartner, Melissa Wimbish, Ethan Watermeier, and Ariana Zukerman.
