Friday Night Eclectic: An Evening of Jazz with THIEFS Presented by Strathmore Friday, March 1, 2013 at 8:30 PM Mansion

Collectively led by drummer and vocalist Guillermo E Brown, bassist Keith Witty and saxophonist Christophe Panzani, THIEFS is a grammatically incoherent jazz bastardization. Fully acoustic to fully electronic, THIEFS weaves elements of modern composition and improvisation into a boundary-less foundation of beats. Don't miss their self-titled debut album, out February 26.

Enjoy a jazz dance performance during the intermission, choreographed by Sandra Atkinson and with music by Wesley Myers. Luscious/Insanity was inspired be the wonderful photography of Satomi Shirai and the love jazz music composition.
