When Talking Heads mastermind David Byrne met indie darling St. Vincent at a benefit in 2009, the stars aligned, and a match was made in music heaven. After appearing on each others various albums, they put together a delightfully idiosyncratic collaboration album, Love This Giant. With heavy brass arrangements over programmed drums, Byrne and St. Vincent trade off and interweave lyrics and vocals in a way that needs to be heard to be understood. Performing songs from the album and more, Byrne and St. Vincent will storm the stage of The Music Center at Strathmore this September. There aren't many dates on this tour, so grab your tickets with this presale to see some truly out-of-left-field art.
