Free Summer Outdoor Concert: The Bachata Legends: Joan Soriano Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 7:00 PM Outdoor
The blending of the sultry Dominican countryside with “the bittersweet feeling of unrealized love”—that’s the haunting undercurrent to the Dominican musical genre known as bachata. Born in rural Dominican Republic, Joan Soriano and his six-member band play steel string bachata with equal parts romance and grit.
This concert will run approximately 100 minutes with intermission.
