Backyard Theater for Children: Recess Monkey Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 9:30 AM Backyard Theater Stage

A trio of Seattle teacher-musicians, Recess Monkey rocks with songs about things that matter to kids. Get ready to dance, shout and develop a devotion to “kindie rock.”

This concert will run approximately 50 minutes with no intermission.

Tickets $8 (Stars Price $7.20) for ages 3 and up (buy online below) Tickets for the 9:30 am show are available at the door Thursday morning. Tickets for the 11:30 will be available up unitl 9:00 am.online and also at the door.
Ages 2 and under are free, no tickets required

Parking: Parking for Backyard Theater is in the Mansion lot on a space-available basis. Enter the lot at 10701 Rockville Pike. Overflow parking is at the meters along Tuckerman Lane, or in the Metro garage. (Parking in the garage is $5.00 and a Metro SmarTrip or major credit card is required to pay the exit fare.)

Seating: The Backyard Theater stage is outdoors under a tent. Please bring blankets or low beach chairs – but no pets, please.

Dining: Bring a bag lunch and grab a patch of grass after the applause. It’s a great time for young critics to share their show reviews!
