Travel around the world on a summertime serenade without leaving the comfort of your beach chair or picnic blanket — that’s the magic of our free outdoor concerts. Eight international acts, eight Wednesday evenings, eight opportunities to enjoy music in the sweet summer breeze: free of charge, open to the public, with no tickets necessary.

Parking: Parking for the Free Summer Outdoor Concerts and Workshops is in the Metro garage for $4.75 with Metro SmarTrip card or major credit card; enter off Tuckerman Lane. Parking for patrons with disabilities (with tag) and Strathmore Stars Parking (with Strathmore Summer Parking Pass) is in the Mansion lot on a space available basis; enter at 10701 Rockville Pike until 7PM.
Seating: Bring blankets or low beach chairs. No pets, please.
Dining at the BBQ Shack: Special Menu for Rafi Malkiel - Falafel Pita, Lamb Schwarma, Hummus with Pita Chips, Stuffed Vine Leaves served in addition to the regular menu, which features bbq chicken, all-natural beef hamburgers, veggie burgers, all-beef hot dogs, cole slaw, grilled corn on the cob, watermelon wedges, desserts, soda, water, beer and wine available for purchase. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Truck will also be on site. |
