Stravinsky Firebird Suite (1919)

Just 24, the highly gifted French conductor Lionel Bringuier has already made his mark as Gustavo Dudamelís Associate Conductor at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He makes his BSO debut in three classic Russian orchestral showpieces, and accompanies concertmaster Jonathan Carney in the lyrical, folk-inflected melodies of Khachaturianís sumptuous Violin Concerto.

Attend a free pre-concert lecture, Symphonic Explorations, offered in partnership with the Levine School of Music. Registration is requested. Please visit BSOmusic.org/explorations for full details and to reserve your seats.

This concert will run approximately 120 minutes including intermission.
