UPDATE:The NHK Symphony Orchestra of Japan has arrived safely and is rehearsing for its North American tour which begins at Strathmore with this performance.

Founded over 80 years ago and boasting a host of acclaimed conductors throughout its history (Dutoit, Ashkenazy and Blomstedt to name a few), Japan’s leading orchestra visits Strathmore this spring conducted by the legendary André Previn and featuring Daniel Müller-Schott, “a fearless player with technique to burn.” (The New York Times)
