This “smart young chamber group that straddles a line between contemporary classical music and indie rock” (WNYC) performs a world premiere work by DC-based composer Alexandra Gardner and music from their upcoming sophomore album. NOW’s unique instrumentation (flute, clarinet, electric guitar, double bass and piano) “imports a catchy inflection to classical forms” (Newsweek) reflecting the musical influences of its members.
