WPAS: Krystian Zimerman, piano Presented by Washington Performing Arts Society Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 8:00 PM Music Center at Strathmore

Due to illness, pianist Krystian Zimerman has canceled his recital. In his place, acclaimed French-Canadian pianist Marc-André Hamelin will perform Haydn’s Sonata No. 32, Schumann’s Fantasie in C Major, Op. 17, Faure’s Barcarolle No. 3 and Nocturne No. 6, and excerpts from Book 2 of Debussy’s Preludes.
