Regarded as one of the supreme chamber ensembles of the world, the Tokyo String Quartet has a “fervor for the music that is contagious” (Chicago Maroon). One of the foremost cellists of our time, Lynn Harrell “performs with an easy generosity, big phrasing, sincerity, and confidence” (The New York Times). Together, they perform Schubert’s sublime string quintet.
